The Home Team [email protected] Programme is a special milestone programme, designed to equip the Home Team volunteers with safety and security skills so that they can make a difference in the community.
NTU made history on 11 August 2016 as the first university to set up the CD Lionhearter Club and be part of the movement to cultivate youth interest in emergency preparedness and to nurture them to be Community First Responders.
These volunteers have rendered their expertise and knowledge by serving as a member of the various Home Team Boards, Councils and Committees or by making contributions to the front-line operations in their respective volunteer schemes.
Parliamentary Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Amrin Amin and Chairman HTVN, A/Prof Ho Peng Kee joined 20 members from MHA boards, councils and committees for a visit to the Home Team Tactical Centre (HTTC) on 04 June 2016.
